All about the U3A.
Overton U3A was initially set up in May 2008. We have over 260 members and 30 groups, covering a wide range of activities that meet at weekly, fortnightly or monthly intervals.
We are a friendly, welcoming U3A and meet on the third Wednesday of each month at 10.00am from September to June at St Mary's Hall, High Street, Overton. Meetings include a brief update by the chair, a talk lasting 45-60 minutes with an opportunity for questions, followed by coffee or tea and a chance to socialise with other members. Our July meeting has traditionally become a trip and there is no meeting in August.
The cost of membership for the year 2018/19 will remain at £15.00 per person with renewal due in September. To attend any of the advertised groups, it is necessary to be a fully paid up member. Membership is available to anyone not in full employment.
